I went to bed and woke up with the worst pain in my left eye. I only get relief when my eye is open but it hurts when I blink or close my eyes!! Ive worn contacts for 20 years and never had issues. I’ve had a tiny white bump on my upper waterline for the last 4 months but my optometrist 2 months ago wasn’t worried and said it doesn’t look infected but I can apply warm compress and massage it for it to go away. It never got better or worse. I had zero pain so I ignored it. I’m wondering if now it’s causing the pain? Anyone go through this? It feels like my eyeballs are scratched! I’m scared
