Coffee or not and WHY?

I have a cup of coffee not everyday, but every other, if that. My doctor says it's okay to have up to 200mg a day. At times I don't even finish my cup. There are many days I can do without it no problem at all, but then there's other days that I need a cup to wake my butt up especially that I have a 2 and a half year old boy. What are your feelings about coffee while pregnant and tips to boost energy naturally?

I have a cup or two every day, no biggie. I did the same with my last pregnancy.

I just recently read something from lactimed saying after 3 weeks, nursing mothers can enjoy 5 cups of coffee without any noticed effects on their newborn.

I don't drink coffee often. Like a couple times a month, IF that. The most caffeine I had while pregnant was a soda here and there. I'd think you're doing just fine. If you're worried you could always switch one cup a day to decaf or something

I usually have a cup every couple days. And I often don't drink the whole thing. But it's fine. If you were drinking 3 cups a day that might be an issue but I have seen pregnant girls drink Mt Dew so coffee is at least a little better. Lol

I'm not a huge coffee or soda person but I've had one here and there.

I switched to decaf and just got used to doing things without caffeine every day. But i hear coffee is perfectly ok during pregnancy!
