Question

My brother started boxing and he needs boxing shoes but where do you get them? Are wrestling and boxing shoes the same thing ? Can he wear them? I don’t see that many options for boxing but more for wrestling and they look very similar

They are different shoes. Boxing shoes have more ankle support as well as smoother bottoms for shifting and quicker movement where wrestling shoes have less support in the ankle and foot and have rough more gripped bottoms for getting traction on the mat. When I boxed I wore Everlast or TITLE boxing shoes. Nike, Adidas and a few other companies make them also. A boxing gym would known where you can buy them near you or they are online. The Nike ones are more comfortable but weren't around when I boxed when I was younger, tested them while I worked at Nike though for product development and were nice.
