Miscarriage? Sensitive cervix?

I went to the er today because I was spotting.. stated yesterday very minimal, then today It was heavier after I went to the bathroom and wiped. They did an internal ultrasound and after she pulled it out I seen actual blood on it. It looked dark but when I wiped with the rag it was bright red. After I left hospital ive been filling a pantry liner (not pad) every hour.

Has anyone experienced this and everything still went fine.. I don’t know what to do I know there’s nothing I can do to prevent it but I can’t stop crying and stressing myself out. She said my hcg levels were low but not “abnormally low” they were 18 something, and I am about 5 weeks.

I had sex and that caused initial spotting, so I’m wondering if my cervix is just super sensitive right now.
