Aunt Flow is FUBAR!!! Possible Implantation Bleeding??

Vicky

Hi Ladies,

First time posting here! This might turn into a but of a long post but bear with me because I could do with a bit of advice.....

So, I'm 34 and I'm a mum to 2 beautiful boys aged almost 12 and 14.

I have a long history of gynae issues ranging right back to when I was a teenager. Other than a diagnosis of PCOS a couple of years back, I've not suffered with my cycle for a while. Infact, my cycle got better as I got older despite having PCOS.

Anyway, I run like clockwork these days and have done for the last 4 or 5 years! Every month without fail, AF catches her flight on time, every time and hasn't gone AWOL for a LONG time (I do realise how lucky I am to still work like clockwork despite my PCOS).

Anyway, last month AF apparently decided to catch an earlier flight and arrived 4 days before her scheduled arrival which caught me off guard. I then suffered what I can only describe as "labour pains" for a good couple of days. I was bleeding very heavily, the pain was horrific and I was white as a sheet.

Now, my AF is a 28 day cycle, and tends to last for only 2-3 days. However, not only was she early last month but she stuck around spotting on and off for a good 10 days!!!! Not only that but I remained very bloated, suffered lower abdominal and back pain, spotty skin and I was so pale I was almost blue, so off I popped to the GP for an quick MOT to make sure all is well (previous history of dodgy cells on cervix etc).

GP examined me and told me the pain I'm feeling was in my ovary area. She did a pelvic floor examination and had a peek at my cervix which she said was tilted so she couldn't see all of it but that from what she could see she said was looking healthy and clear.

She referred me off to Colposcopy and Gynae (again) just to make sure. I got a call the following day to go for a Transvaginal Ultrasound.

I went to my scan and was asked about my cycle and what issues I was having etc. I told her my pain is usually located on the left side but had started being more central. She said, and I quote "Well, there isn't anything on that side".... But didn't specify further. Scan finished and I was told the results will go back to my GP.

Anyway, this month AF decided to be 6 days late!!! VERY unusual for me to be more than a day late, never mind 6 days!!! Bought a Clear blue digital last night with the intention of using it till I woke this morning. When I woke I noticed I was spotting. So little I wouldn't have seen it had it not been for white loo roll. I assumed AF was here so popped in a tampon and went back to bed. I then changed a couple of hours later and noticed a very thin but pink jelly substance on my tampon.

Now, over the last 10 days I've felt so poorly. Banging headache, shivery, gum boils in my mouth, MASSIVE amounts of milky/clear watery CM and my sex drive is through the roof! Not to mention I can't be far from a loo with needing to wee all the time!

Anyway, tonight, AF has gone MIA!! She's just disappeared. All I've been left with is a fairly dry tampon (which has been in for 3ish hours if that that?).

Sorry for TMI. Tampon photo is what I was left with from AF, and toilet tissue from checking my Cervical Position (high, closed and soft). I would have expected a LOT more blood than the smear you see before you which was wiped off my finger!

Thoughts? Xxx
