How long did your hemorrhoids last?

This might be TMI but im 1 month postpartum and I still have bad hemorrhoids. It hurts to go number 2. I continued taking stool softeners for about 2 or 3 weeks after birth but they weren't doing anything. 
I had gotten my first hemorrhoid after a really bad night of throwing up. I got a few more when I pushed the baby out. They gave me a cream which helped them be less swollen but still have not gone away.

With my first they took a while! The prep h suppositories helped more than the hospital cream tbh! It just takes time

I’m 2 weeks post PP and have them as well. I found making sure I’m drinking a ton of water everyday helps make #2 easier. Also I’m eating 2-3 prunes everyday to keep me regular. Sitz bath with Epsom salts and witch hazel pads help too. But seriously, they suck so much. Everyone keeps telling me just need to give it time but at least the above things have made them better and I can actually sit down now.

I’m 41weeks 3days pregnant, I’ve had haemorrhoid since the start of second trimester....it’s horrible and so painful! I’ hope this things goes away after delivery.

The best thing that helped me was the hydrocortisone 2.5%. Your OB should be able to prescribe it! It helped me after my second pregnancy and I remembered to ask for it this time around.

I don't have them. I know they can be caused by a weak pelvic floor, so pelvic floor exercises would probably help. Also making sure to stay hydrated to help with pooping and making sure to take stool softeners.
