Did you do a Baby registry for baby #2?

My 3 year old is a boy and I'm 25 weeks with a girl. I feel kind of weird doing another registry even though we have nothing for a girl. Obviously I don't care that our high chair and play pen from my son isn't pink and purple, but I don't know what's proper etiquette. Not even sure if there will be a shower this time!

I did a small one, same gender. I just didnt announce it, I only told people if anyone asked what I wanted/needed.

Just because it’s your second baby, regardless of gender, doesn’t mean you still have all the things needed. I never understood why people don’t do registries for their second. If you’ve got a good support system, they’ll help make sure you’ve got what you need

I answered wrong because I was thinking of a shower, which I didn’t do. I did do a second registry, but it only had a few things on it that I learned through experience that I needed and a couple girly things. I didn’t publicly share it though. Only sent it by request.

I did a registry for my second for the coupons and to have a list of everything we needed. I gave it out to those who asked if we needed anything. I'll do the same for my third

What do you need that’s girl specific besides clothes? We are have a boy this time, by daughter will be 2 when he’s born and I don’t feel like we need anything beyond his nursery furniture (my daughter will still be using her crib) and clothes 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had a registry for things that I would’ve liked with my first and for replacement items (bibs, pacifiers, bottles, sheets, etc). I put a couple pajamas on there that I liked solely for fluff and didn’t even end up getting anything from that brand, but got some super ugly things I ended up returning and just buying them myself. I also didn’t get a shower with my first baby so I had a shower for my second just because. It was well worth it :).
