How to help dialate more.

I am being induced on Friday and want to go as natural as possible.

My midwife said they will do a low dose pitocin and then a balloon and then pitocin until active labor then we can stop the pitocin.

I had her do a cervical check and membrane sweep today and she said I’m at a tight 1. That she could fit her finger in but it was tight and was barely able to sweep anything.

so we might be able to skip the first dose of pitocin and go straight to the balloon but what can I do to possibly get that from a “tight 1” to just a 1 or possibly further.
