Husband won’t let me do a water birth

I really want to do a water birth, I am high risk but I talked to them about it & they said I would still be able to but my husband had been against it ever since I brought up the idea at the beginning of my pregnancy. Like every time I bring it up he’s suddenly mad over the idea of it & he won’t give me a reason except “it’s weird” but won’t talk to me about it or anything.

I’ve already been struggling with feeling like I have control because of health issues. I have a huge history of other people controlling my life & I don’t wanna give him that control but I don’t know how to communicate with him when he gets mad every time I try to bring it up……

UPDATE:

I talked to him he was just worried about needing ambulance or something but that would be in an extremely rare scenario after talking to my doctor about it. He feels a lot better after explaining scenarios, he’s over all just nervous about the birth in general it’s my second but his first birth experience.
