Depends on how severe it is. If you are so anxious that you cannot function(crying, shaking, hyperventilating, etc) then yes. If you are just feeling uneasy but capable of doing your job, then no.

When my anxiety gets really bad I get dizzy, shaky and pass out . I’m an RN so it absolutely wouldn’t be safe for me to work . In 8 years of being an RN I’ve called out 3 times do to severe anxiety

Yes In some cases. 
My anxiety gets to the point I feel light headed, my throat feels likes it’s closing making it difficult to breath and I puke. 
Sometimes I just feel anxious (like butterflies in my belly) and if I just get out of bed and actually go to work I feel better. Usually, 9/10 getting up and socializing is the answer.

Yep! Your mental health is more important than ANY job. They can and would replace you if anything happened to you, so you need to focus on your health and well-being first. Meet your needs first, everything else comes next.

Yes. Definitely.

Yes if untreated like any untreated condition. I had had anxiety most of my life but before I was treated it could prevent me from working. I have medication and coping skills now so that doesn’t happen, and prn meds if there’s an exacerbation. If it’s so bad that you need to call out, it’s time to see your doctor.
