For me to want to give my baby my last name because I’m not married to the father. I’m actually frustrated we been together 7 years and I’ve proposed twice and he said no not yet and he has no real plans to get married. So I don’t see why I shouldn’t give them my last name especially when I’ll be caring for them most of the time.

I stand by this! If he doesn't want to get married then the kids that you birth get your last name!!! I personally wouldn't even do the two last names. When you do get married changing your child's last name will be easy. Mine was changed when I was 10.

My brothers baby mama did that, gave the baby her name and then when he showed he was ready to commit she gifted him with the paperwork to change it to his name.

He's not ready to be get married but he's ready to have a baby? I say give baby your last name. When he's finally ready to get married, y'all can change your last name and baby's after the wedding.

My sister is happily married but kept her last name. All 3 of their kids have her last name! Nothing wrong with it 🤷🏻‍♀️
