Is it better to have sex 5 days before ovulation and sex on the day of ovulation day?

I recently read that sperm last for 5 days so I heard that if you have sex 5 days before ovulation and then on “high” ovulation day intercourse again. How true is this? 🤔 been ttc for 1 year and 3 months now
