Missing period CD 45 BFN

Hey ladies I was hoping someone can relate to my situation and help me gain some insight. I was very stressed and sick the week of my ovulation so I think it was delayed a week. We use the rhythm method and I did not consider delayed ovulation so we were not too careful the rest of the month and we have a very healthy sex schedule. I was due for my period last Wednesday, but nothing but heavy cramps and sore boobs, yet BFN this morning. I have also been having egg white cervical discharge, a lot of it, soft open cervix. Am I just now ovulating?? Did I miss my period completely and this is a new period cycle in a way?? Usually I get white thick discharge and have firm cervix before my period. I am very confused, anyone else experience this and what happened?? Did you ovulate late, not at all? Were you pregnant or did your period come?? Thanks 💛
