1st IUI success stories?

Hi has anyone had success with their first IUI? Im getting my first on Tuesday

I'm currently 8w3d pregnant with my first IUI! I'm a single female, SMBC, and purchased sperm. Maybe if the sperm you're using has issues it doesn't work?? Honestly I have quite a few friends who tries it and it didn't work, so I was mentally prepared for it not to work. But it did! And right away. If you have any other questions you can ask!

How did this go for you? I noticed nobody posted an answer. I just had my first IUI with a trigger shot and letrozole on June 28th. I have no idea what to expect or what to be looking for other than just see if my period comes or not. It was a little discouraging when both the nurse and the doctor told me after the IUI not to get my hopes up that normally it does not work the first time. So in my head I kept thinking I need to be prepared to try again next month, well it's still in my head that I need to keep my schedule open to try again at the end of this month. I'm dying to know what your experience and results are
