I’m getting waaayyyy ahead of myself here but when should I test (no period date)

I had my Nexplanon removed on 8th June. As my first period hasn’t begun, if I were to get pregnant right away, when should I test? I haven’t tested for ovulation (BBT is my preferred method but I am waiting until my period, if it does arrive, to start this). With my first pregnancy, I only ever test AFTER I was late, but obviously that’s not an option this cycle. Any thoughts?
