Out of country family visiting newborn

My brother in law just flew in from Mexico where he lives to do some work and now he wants to come see our 2 week old baby. I just feel very uneasy for some reason, as the thought of my baby getting sick is so nerve wreaking to me. What would you do in this situation? Do you think it’s safe?
