Dance
My daughter is 7. She does cheer and dance. Not competitively or anything just little league stuff. In my town there are two studios. This year my daughter did tumbling and ballet and she wants to add jazz next year. The other studio does not offer tumbling, they’re more expensive and do not offer any scholarships or fundraisers. The only classes for her age group is a ballet/tap combo and she’s not interested in tap. But, I do agree they have better routines. My daughters main focus has always been tumbling. My ex husband, her dad thinks we need to switch studios. He offered to pay half which would solve the price difference but again, my daughter does not want to switch and give up tumbling. She’s been at this studio for 2 years. The preregistration for her studio is this Saturday and it’s his weekend and I’ll be out of town. I asked him to take her and he won’t bc he doesn’t want her to go there. We’re supposed to make these decisions together and idk what the solution is since I think it should honestly be my daughters decision in the end. Any advice on how to best proceed?
