I delivered a healthy baby boy four years ago and a healthy baby girl 9 weeks ago. After my second baby, I started having so many issues, but I suspected it was my thyroid because I have Hashimotos disease. I went to the doctor because I was having awful joint pain, extreme fatigue, headaches, and weakness. My hands, fingers, wrist, and ankles are the worst. I had some blood test done and I have a high C-reactive protein, along with a positive ANA test that’s speckled. I’m waiting to hear back from my doctor, but everything I read points to lupus. I’m not trying to self diagnose but the symptoms are so similar. Looking back, I’ve always had the butterfly rash but thought it was normal and I’ve always been sensitive to the sun. Has anyone else heard of developing lupus after a pregnancy?
