My husband (37) and I (32) have two girls- 3-years-old and 14-months-old. We both really want one more, but I’m not sure when is the best timing. He wants another immediately (given our ages and my history of infertility/PCOS), but I feel overwhelmed at times with two. My youngest is extremely clingy with me. She refuses to go to anyone else while I’m around. However, I find myself really wanting another baby soon.

Also, my mother-in-law watches our girls while we work. My oldest will start preschool soon and my husband thinks we should have another before she gets to old to be able to watch them.

When do you feel is the best time to have a 3rd? I may wait another year before TTC so our kids can become more independent, but I’m afraid of waiting too long.
