Cardiac activity - early preg

Has anyone had an ultrasound following good bloodwork (proper levels and increasing bhcg) that showed no cardiac activity at the beginning of 6 weeks? If so, did you end up miscarrying or did the pregnancy succeed and heartbeat was detected later?

6 weeks is typically too early for an ultrasound, you won’t be able to see much.

I feel like you’re right. That it’s a mistake but it does say the crown to rump is 18mm and “off the scale” lol so I don’t know. I guess I wait. My hcg numbers are just sooo high

Yeah they probably meant 1.8mm then!

It says the sac is 1.3cm. Which would be SMALLER than the side of the fetus. That’s why it is super odd. I feel like there’s some issues with the results lol

I just had an ultrasound at 6+3 and my doctor told me we may see a heartbeat or we may not - both would be normal at that point. When is your next scan?

They were. I read up on it a ton beforehand and it really does seem to be hit or miss in week 6. I wouldn't stress it. You should definitely be able to see it at your next appointment though.

Ok!! We’re they able to see fetal pole and sac for you too? I go to reassess in one week.
