Saline drops allergic reaction???

I was putting some little remedies saline drops in my 2 month olds nose cause she was stuffy she kept moving her head so some got on her cheek and made a patch of her face all red is this normal??? Is she having an allergic reaction what do I do

Put some on her leg and wait and see...
But saline is like basically diluted table salt. It would be extremely rare, if baby is allergic to salt, and if she is, then she already would have issues related to it.

She might just have sensitive skin saline is pretty drying on fresh baby skin my daughter had the same thing happen to her when she was little to this day it still dries out her skin and she’s 3. If you are concerned you can get her seen just in case or see if you can make a telehealth appointment. It’s a saying for a reason mommy knows best.

It’s more than likely just sensitive skin. Salt can be harsh on sensitive skin. This looks more like contact dermatitis which happens very easily from acidic foods (tomatoes, lemons, oranges…ect) so I imagine salt would do the same! 
A salt allergy is pretty rare.

There are chemical preservatives in this product and she is likely allergic to them. I am as well it actually makes my skin burn. You need to get the preservative free saline drops instead
