I’m currently 25 weeks 5 days, due in September. I reside in Texas.

Texas laws are not mandatory for drug testing newborns, and CPS can NOT take your baby away for just cannabis in your system.

Texas also has a “medical usage program” (Compassionate Use Program) that allows people with neurological disorders to use low percentages of THC.

I have Tonic Clonic seizures, a missing tooth from it, I lose my bladder, I bite my tongue, my breathing slows, and my last seizure I was given 3 rounds of Xanax (IV) during my 5 min seizure triggered in a hospital using strobe lights.

I’m photosensitive (strobe lights, stripes etc) bother me, I have auras a few times a day and thankfully nothing has happened since November-ish 2021.

I have all medical documents and pictures (post seizure and damages- with EEG head wrap on).

I also have PTSD (my name is on the news and everything as a missing person, I been through a lot) mornings are usually hard and I get a nervous feeling when I eat, which makes me constantly want to throw up (pre pregnancy I was 97lbs, now 104.2, so happy about that as well).

I know I will test positive, unless things ease up by the time I give birth and I can stop smoking by 28-30 weeks.

I was given promethazine (that is said to slow breathing) and I was given Lamictal (that can increase the 9 threshold for autism and crosses the placenta- both Cat. C pharm drugs).

I wasn’t comfortable.

Do you think I will be “medically okay” from CPS? Or what?😩
