Struggling with dysgeusia, everything tastes rotten

Jennifer

I will be 11 weeks on Tuesday, since 5+2 I've had such terrible food aversions and sensitivity to food smells. Anything with the remotest bit of flavour tastes and smells absolutely rotten to me either making me retch or physically vomit. I can't eat anything with herbs, spices, onion, garlic, meat or any other strong flavours the list goes on. Even bread is horrible and I need to cook things like peppers because the taste of them raw is too strong, they are sweeter cooked. It's really effecting me mentally and emotionally. I have a couple days where I will find things to eat for example noodles, cauliflower cheese, mac and cheese but it's all so bland and boring and the same taste constantly that even those things are making me sick because I've had them so much. Is anyone else going through this or experienced it before? There isn't much I can do about it I know that, just have to wait it out but it's really getting me down and just needing some support right now
