Should I be worried?

Hi ladies, I am just wondering if anyone experienced the same. First day of my last period was on 7 May, ovulation should be between 21 - 23 May. I had a scan today 20 June, only measured as 5 weeks as they thought it should be 6 weeks. They have booked me another scan for 27th June. I had 3 miscarriages in the past so I am really scared. Should I be worried? Thank you.

My experience was as follows: My LMP was November 6 so we had calculated ovulation approx Nov 22, with due date 13 Aug 22. But a scan at 7 weeks he was measuring 6+3 (EDD 17 Aug 22) and at another scan 4 days later he was measuring 6+5 (EDD 19 Aug 22). I am now 31+4 and at his last ultrasound at 28 weeks his measurements were 29-31 weeks, many of those being in the 90’s for percentiles.
I believe that unless you test for ovulation when trying to conceive it’s hard to actually know when you ovulate. So the date you guess that you’d ovulate may not be the actual date you ovulate, therefore the EDD based on LMP isn’t always accurate.

Measuring off by a week is suuuuper common, especially if you weren’t actually tracking and confirming ovulation. You likely ovulated a little later than you thought and ultrasound measurements can be off by up to 6 days.
