Is there any way you can opt out of posts about adding things to your registry/registry offers/registry advertising/anything else registry based?

I understand that other people might find this fun or in some cases even a bit of a lifeline, but personally I find it deeply uncomfortable. Partly because I don't want to ask strangers for gifts, partly because it feels like it's trying to hook me into buying things from amazon that I probably won't ever need and certainly won't need for several months
