Has anyone else had really bad vaginal odor after getting an IUD? I had it inserted a week and a half ago and about 3 days ago I noticed this absolutely horrid smell that I have only been able to prevent by constantly using scented tampons. I have a hunch that it's caused by the super light bleeding that's normal with your body adjusting and because it's so light if I don't use a tampon my blood etc. just sits inside me and smells awful. However, I have had my period for years and I've never smelt anything this strong. Please help! It's freaking me out and I haven't had sex since I've noticed it because it's so embarrassing!!
