We are moving into our first house in a couple weeks. It has a short chain link fence, but our dog can and will jump that, so we will need to put a tether out for him until we can get a taller fence.

He's a husky/lab, about 75lbs, but he's super strong and determined. I'm just worried about him pulling one of these things out of the ground. I know they all say heavy duty and for big dogs and all that, and he's really not all that big compared to some other breeds, but still. Especially if it's been raining and the ground is soft. How does that work?

Which of these styles (if any) are best? The first two are like 14-16 inches into the ground, and then the swivel one with 6 bolts is 7 inches into the ground.

He's my baby and thought of him getting out terrifies me lol. So I'll be keeping an eye on him anyways.
