Anyone transitioned from crib?

My son has mastered the escape of the crib. So now I transitioned to a toddler bed, but he keeps getting out of it and just plays in his room. What have other moms done to get the kids to sleep once transitioning?￼

My daughter uses a sleep sack. I think it keeps her from climbing out of the crib so we haven’t had any problems.

I just recently transitioned my daughter within the last month and she’s done great from the start. She climbed out of her crib once and I switched her that night. It truly does help if they know their routine and if they are tired. My daughter sometimes will get up and play during nap time so I bring her out and put her back in after a while. Just work on a routine and get him sleepy and hopefully it’ll get better! ❤️

Not yet, kiddo isnt an escape master by any means. But a friend of mine with kiddo same age had to switch to toddler bed a few months ago. Things have to be put away otherwise it is mild chaos. Kiddo does go to sleep but is sometimes found asleep under the chair in the bedroom. Sometimes halfway on the bed. There is a bed rail and bed isnt high off the floor. But as long as they get sleep and you keep up their bed routine!
Have they slept in other types of spaces before?
