Finally got a infertility consult, but haven't been trying for a year yet. Will they order tests still?

A❤️C

When I was trying for 7 months I tried to make an appointment with an OBGYN at my medical group. When I said it was because I've been trying for 7 months they referred me immediately to infertility within the medical group and I never saw a regular obgyn. Now I got a call after waiting for months that they can do a phone consult this Sunday. I have been trying for 10 months (it might be a little less because my cycles are shorter than a month usually so it's been 10 cycles). I'm so happy but worried they aren't going to take me seriously because it hasn't been a year and I'm 28. I don't want necessarily medication (at least not until we do tests) I want just testing to make everything ok like sperm analysis, HSG, etc. to see if anything's wrong. Do you think she will not order that stuff until it's been a year? Do two months really matter in this situation?

Just curious what other people have seen in similar situations
