I'm going through a really rough patch and just needing support and or advice as my whole world is crashing down on me. I have a multi year lease, my landlord is "claiming" property has sold, when it hasn't. I contacted listing agent and even went up to the main hub. No contract is against this place. I've talked to realestate agents and they say he has no right, I've talked to attorneys, some say I'm right some say he is. He has a one sentence, "termination upon sale" clause in lease but since no sale has commenced I don't feel I have any right to be kicked out. Never ever been late with rent, I do all my own repairs(minor) on my dime to help him, etc... im just at a stand still and physically, mentally, and emotionally, I cannot keep going on..
