Postpartum essentials?

Iv put it off getting stuff because it’s not fun stuff to shop for and I always end up getting stuff for baby instead. However I told myself that I’d use the gift cards I got from my shower to get whatever I need postpartum so I need recommendations (: I have the frida mom peri bottle and nursing pads and that’s it.

Fridamom has witch hazel foam you can spray into your postpartum pads for extra comfort, I recommend storing the foam in the fridge. the cold numbing sensation is way better than freezing pads imo. Disposable mesh undies too.

I’m using adult diapers this time. I always forgot to get them and I was getting qtips and seen them and snagged them up. 😂 tucks pads if you can find them I never can for some reason.

Pinterest how to make “padsicles” it’s a large overnight pad, you saturate with aloe and witch Hazel and put in the freezer. I had an episiotomy the last time and would put that pad on after and omg….. the only thing that would help! I used one every other hour I feel! I have 24 in the freezer for this pregnancy 😂 they were fun to make too!

A jar of coconut oil especially if you are nursing or pumping. I also am a big fan of the adult diapers as other said. I prefer reusable nursing pads over disposable. A big water bottle which will be helpful during labor as well. And I have the worlds best aromatherapist and have stocked up on all of her postpartum and nursing products, she had her second baby a week after I had my first and she is due 2 weeks before me this time so she is pumping out a lot of postpartum and nursing products right now.
