Has anyone else experienced this?

My child’s father likes to smoke weed and does it around me. I keep telling him the doctor said it’s harmful to the baby. When he moves I can still smell it. I am currently 23 weeks pregnant. Has this been a problem for anyone else and if so was your baby ok? I’m scared and don’t want anything to happen to by baby.

I’m sure baby will be okay. Are you feeling the effects of it? If not, then I wouldn’t worry too much while pregnant. But it sounds like he has no respect for you as a mother. This should be addressed before he’s smoking close to a baby.

so my man smoked my whole pregnancy and still smokes. i quit the second i found out i was pregnant. we live in fl where it’s legal medically and we both have our medical cards. like i said he smoked my whole pregnancy, around me, in the car with me,  just not in the house ofc. i made him stop smoking in the car about 2 months before baby was born so it didn’t smell like smoke in there and i also made him only use joint papers or a bowl so there was no tobacco or nicotine involved. now that the babies here im ebf so still no smoking and my man smokes only outside, and when he’s done he washes his hands, brushes his teeth and changes his clothes. my baby is perfectly healthy. 
SN: not all doctors agree BUT i was honest about smoking before i found out in case i tested + at my first appointment and she said “if you haven’t stopped already i recommended weaning yourself slowly because it can send your body into shock, and if smoking is the only thing that helps you eat and not have morning sickness then continue smoking!” she just asked that i used bowls or bongs. i had already stopped smoking so it didn’t matter to me but it’s fine to smoke and be around smokers in pregnancy. my cousin and sister both smoked their whole pregnancies and their babies both came out happy, healthy, and so smart!

Lmao your doctor is funny. Your baby is fine and so are you. I can't believe there are people who still won't accept the truth. There's NOTHING wrong with cannabis in fact it is good for majority of people . All the negative crap spewed is and has always been false lies to further their own agendas.

My first pregnancy I couldn’t stand the smell of cannabis.. my sense of smell was so great that even across the house, in the garage blowing smoke out the side door, with multiple doors shut I could smell it and made me want to vomit. My husband had the respect to keep it away and wash when he came in. This round it doesn’t affect me as much, but he still has the respect of going outside or properly venting in his “man-cave” when he does smoke.

I have a family member who smoked it during all 3 pregnancies.....all babies were born and still are fine.  I personally choose not to, my choice.  I get too paranoid to try now that my kids are here, I have had them wake up in the night and been too fried to handle it, lol.

There have not been any medical studies that prove marijuana is NOT harmful to the fetus, so better to be safe and not have him smoke at all around you.
