Question

Growing up I always wanted to name my son jayson if I had one my dad's names Jay wellll now my bf brother has a son named that spelled the same way! I was pretty upset. I want his name to start with a j. I started to consider the name Jaxson but now it seems so common. Does anyone have any suggestions??

I have a story for yah!
So my uncle is named Christopher the 2nd after his father and ever since he was a little boy he was dead set on naming his own son Christopher the 3rd, (like you and Jayson). Well, he fell in love and married a woman who has a son from a previous relationship.... Her son was named Christopher! Needless to say he was very sad to not have "a 3rd." However, he never told this to her son, (obviously because he was only 7yrs old haha). Well one day the son said "wouldn't it be cool if I had the same name as my brother?" And that was it - him and his wife named they're first some together Christopher III how he always wanted, after himself and his dad. They nicknamed him Kip though, (dads nickname growing up was kipper). Anyways, I don't know how you and your man feel about that but that's what my family did and everyone loved it!!
