Fasting while pregnant

I'm obese! I'm 5'0, and I weigh 180lbs.

I used to be over 200 Ibs.

I have been intermittent fasting for the past

two months, and I feel much better for it.

My energy levels have increased, and I feel

a lot more active.

l am currently 6 weeks pregnant, and as I'm

obese I still have a lot of weight to lose. I

have been doing so well in my fasting that I

am no longer craving processed, high

sugared and fattening foods, and I am

seeing good results.

I do eat all the necessary food groups in the 8

hours that I do eat which include lean

organic protein, and fish, dairy, brown

carbs, pulses and beans.

I get my 5 a day

fruit and veg. I take multivitamins and love

brisk walking and cycling.

My questions -

Is it safe for me to continue to fast during

my pregnancy?

Will my baby grow ok, and live off my fat

stores?
