Metformin helps ovulation ?

Question

Did Metformin help anyone ovulate ?  I don't know if I ovulate now I think I do... I'm fortunate enough to have had two successful pregnancies prior to pcos diagnosis. Can't ask the dr because I lost my insurance

This is my first cycle on it but the day after my first tablet I got af and then a few days ago I got my first positive opk so I'm guessing yes it does :)

Unfortunately, Metformin doesn't help everyone with ovulation. Everyone is different. I didn't have regular ovulation for the two years I took it but it did help me maintain my weight better. I hope in your case you're ovulating! If you don't already learn to check your cervix for signs of ovulation and get some of the cheap ovulation tests from Dollar Tree! They work great. It definitely helps me. I went from 1000 MG twice daily to now 5,500 MG twice daily. It makes my belly unfortunately and have bad diarrhea ( Sorry TMI ) but it's worth it to me

BTW---you can't apply for free health care in your state????
