Are sushi bad for pregnant woman?

Currently 6 weeks pregnant and it’s my first baby. We went outside to have a dinner and I ate a lot of sashimi and sushi. I’m sorry I was craving 😣 I just wanna know if these are bad foods for pregnant woman.

The fish used for sushi like salmon is excellent for pregnancy. The issue with sushi is that it’s obviously raw which increases the risk for food borne illness. If your sushi was fresh, handled properly, and from a reputable place the risk of illness is low. 
Women in other countries (outside the US) are not told to avoid sushi as we do here. 
Finally, avoid high mercury fish like some types of tuna.
