Did you have to stop breastfeeding to get period

Almost 13 months PP and no period. My baby only nurses in the morning. 
What was your experiences?!

My daughter self weaned at 13 months and my period back a month later. We were down to just one bedtime feed and still nothing. So far I’m 8 months in with my second and still no period so it’s looking to be the same.

No. I got my cycle back at 2 months pp with a breastfed baby and with a formula fed baby. For me it didn't matter. It was a shock because before my children, back to back, I had 10 years of no cycles.

I was ebf and got my period back at 7 weeks pp

No mine came back once my girls started sleeping longer stretches at night (6+ hours). My first came back at 8mo and second was 7mo

I breastfed all 3 of my kids for 2 years and didn’t have a period until I weaned them.
