I’m trying!! I was induced with my 1st two because of high BP. My BP has been solid this pregnancy so far. I’m 38+1 today. I’ve lost my mucus plug, had my blood show over the course of days, constant contractions, diarrhea, nausea. Still NOT in labor. Just waiting around! 😵‍💫😵‍💫 lol

Keep in mind that the pros of waiting outweigh the cons. No one should be induced unless there’s a medical necessity at this stage.

The wait is so hard! I wasn’t induced with either of my first two, and my babies don’t come early. This time my dr may induce me at 39 wks for high fluids but I’m trying to discourage him from doing it because I think natural labour is probably much better!

Evection is set for 7/6 at 39.6 and I wish I would go in to labor before not because I don’t want to be induced but because I want him out now !!!!

I’m having a home birth so definitely not doing anything to force labor! (My midwife doesn’t do cervical checks, sweeps or break your waters because there’s risks with each of those.) I’ve always had them before my due date so praying that’s the case this time too- but if not, that’s ok!

I’m doing my absolute best. I’m due on tuesday and am not dilated at all. I was diagnosed w GD so they’re going to call me tomorrow to let me know if I’ll need to be induced. they’re just worried about baby’s size, she’s 7lbs 13oz. I don’t think it’s that bad but I’ve heard a lot of mamas w GD get induced so idk 😓 really hoping to avoid it!

If bub doesent come by 41 weeks then I’m being sent for an ultrasound and CTG. I can birth at my birth centre up to 41+5 but if nothing by then, then I think once I go to the medical model in the main hospital they will try to convince me to have an induction. I’ll go with my gut if I get to that point. 39+4 today. I have had a feeling this entire pregnancy that baby will come on his or her due date on 4th July or a day either side. So we shall seeee!!
