How to take care of an infant?

How do I take care of a baby? I've followed what to buy. But when the newborn is here what do you do no one talks about this like how do I hold an infant i heard they have a soft spot on there head and what do you do with a infant hold them rock them all day let them sleep I'm a first time mom with no younger siblings so please post videos links information what classes to take because I am scared okay unplanned pregnancy

I suggest checking to see if your hospital has any classes for birthing and new born care. We took a child birth class before our first and they addressed the basics like changing and swaddling, etc. I was used to being around kids, but it could be helpful for those who aren't.

Sign up for classes at a nearby hospital.  It will be a great help.  They cover diapers, bottles, swaddling, what's normal etc... Once the baby is here try and not be scared of the baby.  It's overwhelming but you'll get the hang of it.

When I had my son, the hospital made sure we had basic knowledge of how to care for our baby. Holding/changing/feeding/bathing. We already knew what we were doing since I have younger siblings & he has nieces & nephews he's babysat before. I'm guessing it was because we were 1st time parents & they wanted to make sure we knew what we were doing. I don't know if other hospitals do this though

I think it's an instinct. There is a lot that goes into taking care of a newborn. Baby center has a lot of good information on stuff like that. I'd try to find sites that offer information about this kind of stuff. Don't over work yourself with worry that you won't know what to do. Also classes can be taken so that you're more prepared
