My boss is rude to me

It’s not just with me it’s with everyone but today I left work crying bc he was just so rude. I was asking him if he heard about a story & he got super aggressive talking about only “idiots follow that” then when I was doing my task he was yelling “take it out, it’s common sense” and I looked at him and told him he was rude. Idk the way he talks to me like im stupid or he’s above me and hurts my feelings and embarrassing. I’m looking for a new job but until I get one I’d like advice on how to handle this or how to have tough skin. I don’t think I will hold anymore conversations with him besides work related.
