LSIL HPV +16

Hello ladies I need help

I did a Pap smear in April in my old OB office before I switched . She never told me anything about it she simply said everything with me is okay etc. well I switched OB’s & my old OB transferred my records to my new one.. my new OB told me my Pap smear was abnormal & I have HPV +16 & i have small lesions on my cervix. She told me I have to do another Pap smear to see if it’s abnormal again & if it is she’s running it for cancer since it was abnormal .. I’m confused why my old OB never told me anything!! My new OB said it can take up to 3 years to go away in some cases.. so my question is what will happen? I have small lesions & its HPV +16, which I hear can increase the chances of cancer? I’m currently 22 WEEKS PREGNANT so I’m stressed😅I never had this before. Does the small lesions mean it’s already a slow grow of cancer? What’s someone’s experience .. thank you!
