Anyone have to get a trigger shot twice?

J.

My situation is I got into a bad car accident the night of my hcg trigger shot (got it the afternoon right before the accident), then made it in for the IUI the next morning even though I was injured. My doctor timed my follicles so gave me the trigger at the right time. Two weeks pass and I missed AF, but negative tests. Today I am 7 days past AF and went in for an ultrasound and the doctor was dumbfounded that my follicles looked nearly the same as three weeks ago when I got the trigger the day of the accident.. so it didn't release the egg, He couldn't explain it but said the trauma from the accident or stress could

of been why. He gave me another trigger today to try to get me to ovulate.. just stressed about it and worried .

My periods have always been normal and on time other than when I had a miscarriage this past year. Anyone experience anything similar or having to trigger twice for whatever reason? I asked him if the egg being in there so long would affect its quality and he said no.. just worried if this will mess my body up having missed a whole cycle and two triggers and all.. he said I should get my period in two weeks
