Expired pregnancy test

Hi ladies I have a question I just took a pregnancy test and it came up positive right away but when I looked at the wrapping it expired 7- 2 - 22.

Are pregnancy test still valid after they expired?

I was supposed to to start my period last week so I figured I'd start this week but nothing yet. I will definitely get another test to be sure
