For you experienced mamas who pump for colostrum. My little man I’m currently in the NICU was born yesterday at 34+1. I started pumping yesterday and got a tiny bit right away the first two pumps, nothing major about .5 mL but I was happy with it. I haven’t gotten anything since and it’s so discouraging.Iv been pumping about 20 min every two hours or so. I already can’t breast feed my baby and have only gotten to hold him once which is so hard and now I feel like Iv failed at my breast feeding journey already. I could really use some tips. I’m a FTM and I’m completely new to pumping. Little man is currently being supplemented with formula and is not tolerating it well and spits everything up so they are holding his feedings and placed a NG tube. All I want is to be able to pump just enough so he can have the colostrum my heart is telling me it’s what he needs 😭😩😭.
