I had friends and my MIL express interest in throwing me a baby shower either before I was even pregnant or shortly after announcing. Now I'm 23 weeks and I haven't heard a peep about anyone planning anything since. I'm starting to get a little disheartened that no one is actually doing anything now and I really wanted one. I don't know what to do. I know asking is tacky and I feel like I've hinted as much as I could by talking about registries and such around them.
