Is there a safe way to keep baby’s pacifier near ?

The ones that clip to clothing are unsafe while sleeping right ? Is there a safe version or no ?

Clip it farther down on the the shirt. I’ve done that with my baby since she was a month old and I’ve had no issues. There is no way it’ll wrap around her neck if it barely reaches.

How old is baby? Only one of mine would accept pacifiers and I just kept multiple in his crib and his were glow in the dark so I could see them and then when he was old enough, he could find them easily himself. I did use clips during the day, just not at night.

Nope. Not for sleeping in the crib.
The best thing to do is keep multiple pacifiers around the crib.

Wubbanubba!! They have those animals attached and you can sort of tuck it in the sleep sack!! I never understood the point of the wubba’s, until I saw that baby girl can hold it herself! We now have multiple!! I also tuck one in to the strap when  I’m baby wearing so she can easily get to it!

We’ve never used multiples (unless we have up on finding it and pulled out a second one) and we’ve never used a clip at night. We only use the clips when we’re out and about. But the clips we did use have silicone teething balls instead of the ribbon. They’re strung together, but each ball is tied individually and I can’t imagine a kid getting it wrapped around them or pulling the balls off. My older ones are almost 3 and 4 and have tried, to no avail. It would definitely be a safER option, if not considered safe officially 🤔 basically like these

I stick mine in the side of his bassinet , he’s only 3 weeks old so he can’t grab it yet but when he wants it it’s close for me to grab . I use to have it on a teething clip but when it’s in his mouth it gets on the side of his neck so I took the clip off .

You can keep the pacifier in the crib as long as you take the clip and part attached to it off. Nothing else should be in the crib. I have done several safe sleep trainings for working with infants and toddlers and it's literally a fitted sheet and a pacifier on its own are safe, as well as pajamas or onesie or just diaper or sleep sack until the age of 1. We didn't do a blanket for our daughter until after 1 and a pillow closer to 18 months.

I’d buy the glow in the dark ones and just put one  on the top corner side of the crib that’s what I do never have any problems with it I do it in her bassinet it’s probably the most safest way cause baby’s are aloud to have a paciy in bed cause it’s proven to help with Sid’s having anything other than baby or paciy such as clips and things could cause a hazard if it falls off the outfit
