Should you let your 1 month old baby cry ?

Here is the thing, it’s been a couple of days now that baby has realized how much he loves his pacifier. He had a very hard time to poop and was crying like crazy so we gave him a pacifier to help, and changed the formula also. Now that he has a new formula he is feeling much better, but he now wants his pacifier most of the time and especially to sleep (he falls asleep way more easily but at what price!). 
Problem is, of course, he looses it every 15 min… and cries to get someone to give him back. Which makes our nights a real nightmare 😓 and also our days!
I am also worried because he will go to daycare in a couple of weeks (he will be 2 months old, don’t have any other choice, no family since I am from another country and I have to get back to work) and I know that at the daycare they won’t be able to be after him all the time like I am. So I am worried he will spend his time crying over there… even though I know that the teachers know how to take care of a baby!
So my question is, would you try to remove the pacifier now (I know some people are for pacifiers, some aren’t) and would you let your baby cry when he looses it or would you keep running to his room to give him back, knowing that you will be back in 15 minutes?

If you decide you’re not going to replace the paci when he loses it you’re just going to have to soothe him another way until he forgets about the paci… But no, you cannot let a one month old just cry it out.

Just let him.have the pacifier, and give it to him when he looses it. Trust me as a former daycare worker- they will give the binki back. No o e wants babys crying or a crying baby to wake up other babies. They will give the bink back. A bink reduces the risk of sids so just let him have it

They will give the paci back at daycare. If they are anything like mine, they’ll also help you wean from the paci when you’re ready. 
I would just let him have the paci. I had to keep giving my son his paci in the beginning too. Turns out it was the type of paci. He just couldn’t seem to hold it in his mouth. I got a different kind and he didn’t wake up near as often from losing it. Once he figured out how to get it in his own mouth, it was even better.

Honestly my daughter got hooked on the pacifier and I was dreading taking it away thinking of all the crying she would do and how hard it would be for her to sleep without it but she finally got down to only having one left and she threw it in Walmart one day and lost it and we never bought her more, she cried for maybe 10 minutes when I put her down without it and after that first night of sleeping without it there was never another issue. If I had known it would go like that I would have taken it away much sooner. She had it till at least 17 months and it was starting to mess up her teeth and alignment. I'd say just take it away now before he gets super attached and if he cries just give him some time and go in don't pick him up but rub his back and calm him if he needs it.

No you can’t let a baby that young just cry. I just had my 3rd baby 3 weeks ago. He did the same thing with the binky and I said screw it and stopped giving it to him. I just rock him instead until he’s asleep. I wasn’t getting up every 5 seconds to put it back in his mouth. He forgot about the pacifier quickly and I haven’t given it back since.

From a mama that had to do daycare with my second child. There will be quite a bit of self soothing he will have to get used to. There are 2 teachers to 10 babies at the daycare we go to and yes they do all the different places for the baby to play and sleep and all that but they have to rotate and they do replace my son's paci which he has better control over it now that he is 5 months but there will be a lot of him self soothing since there is no way for them to hold babies all day and rock to sleep for extended periods of time. Sucks but it is true, all tho it's nice to have my son be able to do a good amount of self soothing also.

NO! You should never let a little baby just cry. They cry to communicate no matter what they are trying to communicate they don't need to be ignored. It's scientifically proven babies left to cry are stressed and that's not good. A baby this little needs comfort. If you don't want to give paci then you'll have to figure something else out to comfort baby rather than leave them to cry.

It's a one month old so no you shouldn't just let it cry it out. If you don't want to replace the pack find one that baby can keep in it's mouth better than the one you're using.
My son loved the soothie pacifiers and never took any other ones and they worked very well and when he was 18+ months he dropped it himself with no issues
