What kind of diaper bag/ backpack do you recommend for first time mom?

A little on the pricier side but I absolutely love it. I have 2 kids 2 and under and use the mini. If my oldest wasnt potty trained then I probably would have the large one but honestly after a while I never needed a giant bag since I only took a few diapers, a toy and my wallet. I will continue to use this bag after my second is out of diapers.

I had a different, cheaper bag with my first that really didn't hold up well. I got this bag while I was pregnant with my second and love it. I got it 40% off on black Friday, so that helped a lot with the price.

Whatever diaper bag that fits your family's lifestyle needs. It doesn't have to be anything fancy or expensive with extra bells and whistles, unless that's what you're looking for. You could really use any bag you like! I'm a SAHM and have never used formula or bottles as I've always EBF my three babies, so we just use our diaper bag when we go out to the store, restaurants, and to visit friends and family with just the necessities- my wallet (I don't carry a purse and just use the diaper bag lol), diapers, wipes, cream, baby food/snacks, a baby spoon, a bib, a small blanket, and an extra outfit. Keep in mind, you'll need something durable and high quality if you're going to be using it often, such as taking it to daycare. I do prefer a backpack style diaper bag as it's more comfortable but still cute and extremely functional. I got mine off Amazon. Well, I actually picked it out and my bestie gave it to me as a baby shower gift. It's held up great for 7 months of light use x

We had a cheaper diaper bag and it didn't even hold up a full year. We got this one and it fits everything for both of our babies. It stands upright on it's own, has enough storage for 3 kids, and is a great durable bag.

Whatever you choose, get a backpack style one. Large totes are bad for your back, and that bag is gonna be packed full. Plus it'll keep your arms free for baby. You can wear the baby and still carry the bag comfortably

We tried so many. Thankfully most were handed down so we weren’t out a lot of money. Ultimately, our favorite was from Thirty-One. I don’t think they make the one we have, but I can be cross body or shoulder, has three outside pockets and a cooler pocket inside the big pocket.
