Severe pelvic pain

For the past 4 days I’ve been experiencing this severe pain in my pelvis anytime I walk. It hurts so bad to the point I’m limping sometimes.

I’m aware of pelvic pain due to the uterus growing as I’ve experienced the discomfort with my 1st child. The thing is this is completely different, as I mentioned at times I can barely even walk. It’s like a shooting pain in my pelvis with every step.

My question is, has anyone experienced this? Is this just a more harsh side of pelvic pain? I contacted my Midwife this morning and was told it’s normal and to take Tylenol for the pain. I took her advice and the Tylenol did nothing. She did mention if the pain increases to go into the ER. Increases as in what? The point of me not walking.. idk? I just don’t want to be that person that goes in just to be looked at stupid and told it’s normal. I’ve just never experienced this with my 1st pregnancy.
