Hi everyone, so my little boy who is 2 1/2 years old has just started toilet training this week. He didn't like the potty so has been sitting on the toilet instead. He has done many pee's in the toilet but no poo's (which is brilliant as we've only started this week).

We have been bringing him into the bathroom and setting him on the toilet, but he doesn't say when he has to go, he just tells us after if he has pee'd or pooped in his nappy.

As this is my first child I don't know if that's normal so far and also how long does it take to be fully toilet trained? Any advice at all would be very welcome. Thank you in advance!
